Do you think the Left and Oswald are the same?

On this 50 Anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, AK INSIDER takes a step away from local politics and thought it would be fitting to make a small observation of where the political consciousness of America has been after that fateful day on November 22, 1963.

Investigative journalist Gerald Posner told FRONTLINE that he did not believe Oswald held any hatred for President Kennedy. “What he did hate was the system and what Kennedy stood for,” said Posner. “He despised America. He despised capitalism. When he eventually had the opportunity to strike against Kennedy, it was that symbol of the system that he was going after.”

The equal political philosophy of 1950’s-1960’s Lee Oswald are expressed openly in today’s university classrooms all over America, in some media talk shows and Hollywood rant more than ever before. The “blame America” crowds with its strong anti-American sentiments are identified as the Leftist movement. All what we [Americans] do is bad and corrupt the Left says.

This denunciation of American capitalism and culture would never been tolerable during the Cold War. The war on fighting global communism ended 22 years ago in 1991.

Today, can the Leftist movement, the “Woodstock” Generation and their surrogates escape from being identified with the same convictions that the killer of Kennedy felt more than 50 years ago?
